Professor Yuri Larsen

Always.

Professor Yuri Larsen is a character who appears in both Perfect-timing villain and A villain’s perfect mind palace. He was confirmed by Chris and Jack to be Chris’ inventor character in Wormhole Monocle, and operates under the alias ‘Ledlow’, who was mentioned in Moments between the montage and The 'whoa, didn't expect to see him there' Guy.

Officially, Yuri Larsen’s first appearance is in Wormhole Monocle, though the character is theorised to be one and the same as Chris’ character in Three Dudes Chillin' in a Doritos Bag.

Biography

Early years

In a parallel dimension, Yuri Larsen invented a shrink ray to shrink him and his friends down to fit inside a Doritos bag. Inside the bag, he discussed the possibility of information travelling faster than the speed of light. He also stole gumballs (beginning a life of crime). Eventually, he and his friends left the Doritos bag due to the high temperature inside. Though, feeling nostalgic, they built a giant Doritos bag. (Three Dudes Chillin' in a Doritos Bag)

Wormhole Monocle

Some time later, having since grown a moustache, he proudly presented his latest invention; the ‘Wormhole Monocle’ – a suspended wormhole contained within a temperature controlled piece of refined glass. Upset by his friend over whether the words ‘wormhole’ and ‘monocle’ rhyme, he had an emotional conversation with his friend, leading to him crying, which inadvertently caused the Wormhole Monocle to drop into a cup of hot hot coffee and explode. (Wormhole Monocle)

While the dimension was destroyed, he managed to escape (along with his friend), leaving visibly scarred over his eye due to the monocle.[1] His escape from the burning dimension was foreshadowed in the theme song from Three Dudes Chillin' in a Doritos Bag in this line:

"It got too hot so they got out." —Three Dudes Chillin' in a Doritos Bag theme song

Rise to power

Having escaped to the main universe, Larsen was left with nothing but scars. In need of capital to rebuild his lab in this world, he used his experience in robbery (having previously stolen some gumballs in Three Dudes Chillin' in a Doritos Bag) to pull off a heist for 85 million dollars (👏👏👏👏) (After the heist). “It’s like as if I’ve created some weird alternate universe where I’m expected to plan everything,”

“… we’re not having Doritos in a warehouse, okay?”

Over time, he gained notoriety for having valuable assets. There were various planned heists over his property, including one where his thumbprint was pulled (Moments between the montage, The 'whoa, didn't expect to see him there' Guy)

Stand-offs

Now at the supervillain stage, he once attempted a dramatic entrance as he walked down a staircase, though the awkward execution ended with him dropping a heavy post cap on his foot. (Guy whose supervillain entrance doesn't go great)

  1. Chris’ (now deleted) Discord messages from 2020/12/22: “Professor Yuri Larsen and Inventor once knew each other. They even worked with each other. On... Wormhole Monocle. And when that dimension was destroyed they managed to survive. Even if they were a little... scarred.” “Yuri Larsen eye-scar from the monocle. Inventor lost an arm from the hot hot coffee.” “I will give one connection that's confirmed from us: "J. Riddenhaur" AKA "Ledlow" is an alias for "Larson"”
