A "Guy Who" sci-fi short film is an extended instalment in Chris W. Smith's Guy Who series. It follows multiple Guy Who's throughout the story of an alien invasion.

• Guy who spots something in his telescope he can't explain.
• Astronaut who sees an alien craft but forgets how close he is to the window.
• Secretary of Defense who doesn't believe aliens are on the way.
• Guy who hears incoming alien signal and tries to tell his boss, but gets a Tinder message and forgets what he was about to say.
• Secretary of Defense who now believes aliens are on the way.
• Farmer who sees an alien ship land in his cornfield and now realizes he has to replant corn.
• Dignitary who is a hypochondriac and refuses to shake the alien leader's hand which unwittingly triggers an intergalactic war.
• Journalist who misses Defcon 3 going to Defcon 1.
• Guy who tries to open a beer bottle as the battle rages outside his bunker.
• Guy who the aliens try to abduct but he's indoors.
• Gamer who didn't keep up with the news and thinks the noise outside is road construction.
• Scientist who is jealous of his colleague for being the one to figure out a computer virus will defeat the aliens.
• Farmer who sees an alien ship leave his confirmed and now goes to replant the corn.
• Alien pilot who feels bad for being the one to not see the computer virus weakness is told by the alien leader that it's okay and they'll get 'em next time.
• Guy who, once again, spots something in his telescope he can't explain. Then realizes it's dust.
