Hobby inventor Phil is visited by the future version of his girlfriend Jenna, who is there to make him finish an invention which will ensure mankind's survival against a future alien invasion. She is joined by her partner Gunner, which forces her to admit to Phil that they will shortly break up.

== Connections ==
Phil, bummed about his break up, eventually checks into the [[Checking into the Heartbreak Hotel|Heartbreak Hotel]]. The [[Holocube|communication cube]] Phil gets to stay in touch with Gunner and Jenna is pretty interesting. First of all since it lets them conduct a live conversation through time, second because it seems to also transmit visions directly into Phil's head. The cube also appears in [[Movies in space]], where Travis uses it to play a video. That implies it functions as sort of a future telephone, with lots of fun features and probably a Tetris game somewhere in there. Considering that Phil is an inventor, he may actually have developed the cube's technology from the one Gunner give him, and thus we're probably looking at a Bootstrap Paradox: Phil designed the cube looking at the cube he designed.

'''Inventór''' is a scientist who appears in at leas half a dozen C&J sketches, tracing his rise and ultimate fall as one of the CJCU's premier supervillains.

He was confirmed by [[Chris and Jack]] to be Jack's scientist character in [[Wormhole Monocle]], and operates under the alias 'Dr. Nefaro', who was mentioned in [[Timebomb]] and [[When a hotshot detective tries to leave a room]].

Officially, Inventór's first appearance is in [[Wormhole Monocle]], although the character is theorised to be one and the same as Jack's character in [[Bill's Biscuit and Basket Business]], and Jack's character in [[The Sky's The Limit]].

== Name(s) ==
Inventór's real name is not known, as he appears under a different alias in almost every sketch he appears in. Before his supervillain career, he is alternately referred to as Craig and Bill. We also don't know if Dr. Nefaro is an alias he operated under or a previous supervillain name, or, for that matter, whether he really had a doctorate.

Inventór ran a business on Wilshire Ave selling and offering services for biscuits, baskets, bass kits, and bass cats. In a commercial promoting his business, he admitted to crossbreeding bass and cats and riding them. ([[Bill's Biscuit and Basket Business]]) Alongside this business, he carried out bioengineering, receiving research grants for scientific experiments. ([[Bill's Biscuit and Basket Business|Bills Biscuit and Basket Outtakes, 0:35]]) He had aspirations of being an architect. He collected freight trains and sent model trains on them to his uncle.

Some time later, he had worked his way up from selling biscuits and baskets to becoming the head of NASA. He hung up a sign to inform [[Chris (The Sky's The Limit)|Chris]], an astronaut in training, that 'THE SKY'S THE LIMIT', a discovery that would break Chris. In response to his crying, Inventor merely shrugged. ([[The Sky's The Limit]])

One day, a [[Professor Yuri Larsen|co-worker]] entered Inventór's office (decorated with a framed picture from NASA) to unveil his new achievement. Once again, Inventór makes his co-worker cry, only this time, it had disastrous ramifications. The dimension collapsed after the co-worker's device dropped into Inventór's hot hot coffee, ([[Wormhole Monocle]]) although they both managed to survive. The two go on to become two of the CJCUs most notorious supervillains, his co-worker becoming [[Professor Yuri Larsen]].<ref>Chris’ (now deleted) Discord messages from 2020/12/22:
